March 25 Spring Break with the PetersonsWell, it's Spring Break for us at MU, but that doesn't mean I'm getting any real time off yet -- that doesn't happen until April 28 or so. But in the meantime, I wasable to take Monday and Tuesday off and spend it with my wife, my daughter and good friends, the Petersons.
Kimmy, Matt and I are old chums from college. They have two young girls, Anisa and Jasmine. They all loved Baby Audrey.
It's been a fun two days. You can see more photos over at ye olde Photobucket account.
But now I have to put my nose to the grindstone for NNA on a design project, plus get a few things done before my paternity leave kicks in.
I leave you for now with this selection of photos:
March 03 Say hi to the babyWell, the baby is due in about 9 hours. This seems like a good time to ask everyone to submit their first hi, hello, how are you to her. Just leave a comment below. The baby is coming very, very soonIt's 4:32 p.m. CST as I start to write this, meaning the baby will be here in mere hours. About 15 hours, to be precise. Yes, I'm freaking out, but in the way a new father should. It's like Christmas morning times about a billion. I've never been this excited for something in my life. I almost ordered a shot at lunch today, just to calm my nerves. I've been mostly worthless at work today. I'm just taking up space, tying up a few loose ends and otherwise getting excited for the big day. I have a meeting in 25 minutes, then I'm out of here until next week. We're all ready to go. The hospital bags are packed. The alarm is set. The car seat is ready. Jenny is ready to give birth. We have our call list ready to go. I'm also hoping to post photos here at some point tomorrow. And the name will finally be revealed. It will be a big day. ![]() |
